Some of my extended family are members of The Wyndgate Golf Club in Michigan, where they host a Family Golf Scramble every 4th of July. Last year my mom and I were asked to take my Papa's place, and went again this year. We had 7 people golfing this year and take the best out of each person's score for all 18 holes. Pretty fun & beautiful course!
After my appointments and volunteering, we left Thursday afternoon, traveled to Michigan and played in the Scramble on Friday.
My aunt, uncle, and cousin, usually travel to us for the major holidays, and other spontaneous times, so I enjoy when we get to travel to them! There were many games, laughter, jokes, and of course singing and guitar playing.
Overall, I am hanging in there. Since the last time I updated, with great lung function numbers, I have dropped a significant amount. On top of that, struggling a little more to breathe. Having fun takes its toll on my body. Laughing a lot seemed to trigger my asthma, as well as playing some Ping-Pong. I was nervous golfing and being outside, (seeing as I am allergic to the air) but I tried to take it easy and use the energy I did have sparingly.
My muscle pain has increased in my back/lung area and intensifies when I struggle harder to breathe. Waiting on a call back from my Neurologist, due to increased pain and symptoms from my head as well.
I'll be taking it easy, catching up on my energy level and some sleep now that I have returned back home!
